Been awhile..

I have been checked out on here for longer than I would have liked to be. Work and family/friend medical emergencies have consumed me this week. I am glad that Sunday is here and a fresh new start to the week is upon me!

I weighed in on Friday with a disappointing weight loss of -1 lb. I was really hoping to see a few more. I have discovered my downfall- working from a home office. Access to the refrigerator is WAY to easy....when I used to work in the office, myself and a fellow co-worker used to go walking 45 minutes a day. I miss a walking buddy. It's been so cold out (-30) that walking outside isn't even a thought. Does anyone else work from home? Do you have any tips to share?

Here's to a new week!

  1. Don't be defeated by a 1 lb loss - be proud of it, it's great! Why don't you take walking lunges down your hallway twice a day? Or pop in a workout DVD on your "lunch break". You can do it!

  2. I work from home 2 to 3 hours a day, and I just had to make sure we had NOTHING at ALL that I would be willing to eat that wasn't good for me. I have a teenage boy, so we stocked up on some food for him that is outside of what I like, that way he isn't stuck on WW too!

  4. I work from home and what I do is I keep my food journal right next to the fridge which is on the wall by the pantry so anytime I want to eat something I am going in the fridge or pantry no chance to not see it and I have to write it down BEFORE I eat it.
I found when I see the numbers of points left to eat is going down I start to eat less.
Good Luck....oh and a HUGE WATER BOTTLE and A HUGE BOTTLE OF CRYSTAL LIGHT!
